Objectives:

The Plant HR Head is responsible for managing all aspects of HR within a manufacturing facility. The role involves ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, managing employee relations, and overseeing recruitment, training, and development programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR Policies and Programs:
    • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  2. Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour laws, safety regulations, and other employment-related laws.
  3. Employee Relations:
    • Manage and enhance employee relations, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Address employee concerns and grievances effectively.
  4. Recruitment:
    • Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates.
    • Collaborate with hiring managers to fulfill staffing needs.
  5. Training and Development:
    • Design and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
    • Identify training needs and coordinate relevant programs.
  6. Performance Management:
    • Implement performance management systems to track and evaluate employee performance.
    • Provide guidance on performance improvement and career development.
  7. HR Compliance:
    • Ensure HR processes align with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Regularly update policies to reflect changes in employment laws.
  8. Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with overall business objectives.
    • Work closely with other departments to support organizational goals.
